“Recently, our church had a baptism for three men of 60+ years old. One fine day some time ago, they just walked into our church by themselves when we were having our Sunday worship.” A sister of a nearby church told us excitedly.

We were all over-joyed and deeply encouraged to hear this testimony. People walking into a church by themselves here are rare and unheard of, especially men over 60 years old. They normally go to “pachinko” or drinking places, not to church.

Evangelism is difficult here and some of us at times wonder whether we are doing the right thing being here. But God confirm and renew our conviction by showing us how He is at work and in total control here.
