Is Spring really here?

Full cherry blossom has finally arrived in Iwate, about a month later than Tokyo.  Spring is in 
the air.  Atmosphere is not as “cheerful” though.








Many are still staying at temporary housing areas waiting to be relocated to more permanent housing areas. Looks like it is going to be a long wait.

Employment opportunities are still scarce. Small eateries are mushrooming here and there. If only there are more customers, more people coming to these areas…..

Nobody seems to know what the future brings.  

If only they are seeking for everlasting hope…..but sadly, most seem to accept the situation as “fate”…..

But our God is a God of Hope. Is there anything too difficult for Thee? Luke 1: 37
